After completing my engineering degree at the University of Virginia and spending several years in the software business, I decided to push convention aside and pursue my lifelong dream of becoming a chef. I received my culinary training in New York City at The Institute of Culinary Education and at Montrachet, the three-star French restaurant in Manhattan. My husband and I relocated back to Charlottesville in 2002.
My cooking repertoire ranges from spa cuisine to home-style indulgence, with everything in between. My professional training is based on classical French technique, but, having grown up overseas, I like to experiment with cooking styles from all over the world. I use seasonal fresh produce and shop from local purveyors to get the finest quality ingredients for my customers.
I am a Premier Member of the United States Personal Chef Association and am fully licensed and insured.
